Joy Global Raises Earnings Forecast, To Sell Unit :: Joy Global (JOYG) beat third-quarter earnings expectations and lifted its estimate for full-year profit, as high commodity prices have prompted customers to accelerate mining projects. The mining equipment maker's new full-year profit forecast implies fourth-quarter earnings of $1.61-$1.91 a share, the midpoint just above analysts' views of $1.74. Justice Dept. Sues To Block AT&T's T-Mobile Deal :: The Justice Department has filed a lawsuit to block AT&T's (T) $39 billion deal to buy T-Mobile, saying it would hurt competition and raise prices for consumers. The deal was announced in March and would combine the No. 2 and the No. 4 wireless carriers to form the biggest U.S. provider.
