Target their parents :: (Association for Psychological Science) Increasing the number of students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math - the STEM disciplines - is vital to national competitiveness in the global economy and to the development of a strong workforce. But the pipeline leading toward STEM careers begins leaking in high school, when students choose not to take advanced STEM courses. The Champions of Change program is part of President Obama's Winning the Future Initiative. If anyone has spent his life thinking about our future, it's Brazelton.
